What we set up
The Bachelorette
Shade, a low table dressed in linen, cushions, a stocked cooler, music and games. Built before you wake up, gone before you notice.

Marea Alta is a local concierge on Costa Rica's north Pacific coast. Beach days, proposals, dinners under the stars — set up on the sand before you arrive, cleared after you leave, and planned by three people who grew up between Papagayo and Tamarindo.
Bueno, bonito y accesible — the same good day for a visitor and for a neighbor.
See what we set up
We grew up on this coast — swimming these beaches, driving these roads and watching these sunsets our whole lives. So there's nothing for you to figure out: we already know the tides, the tables, the shortcuts and the quiet corners.
You tell us the day. We carry the coolers, raise the shade, dress the table on the sand — and take every last cup home after. You just arrive.
Bueno, bonito y con alma — from Playas del Coco.
Guanacaste looks small on a map. It isn't. Pick your hotel and see the beaches that are really yours — honest drive times, what each one is good for, and the note we'd give a friend.
Drive times are our estimates — we confirm the exact route the day you book.
Staying somewhere else? Send us the name — we know it.
Build my day hereEach one starts complete and honest. You add only what you actually want — and skip the rest without anyone raising an eyebrow.
What we set up
Shade, a low table dressed in linen, cushions, a stocked cooler, music and games. Built before you wake up, gone before you notice.
What we set up
An empty beach chosen for its light, a photographer you'll never spot, flowers, and something cold already waiting. Timed to the tide so the sand runs wide.
What we set up
A table on the sand, lanterns down to the water, a private cook and three courses of whatever came off the boat that morning.
What we set up
Shade, hammocks, cut fruit, cold towels, and a massage table if you want one. The whole point is that you never make a single decision.
Reference pricing while our final rates are confirmed. We always send the exact number in writing before anything is booked.
This is the base. On its own it's already a very good day.
Pick what matters to you. Nothing here is expected.
And quietly, everything else. The dinner reservation that says it's full. A rental car that actually shows up. Groceries in the villa before you land. A whole honeymoon week mapped out. If it happens in Guanacaste, ask us first — it's usually one message.
Plus what you're celebrating, how many of you, and the date. That's the whole form.
Beach, timing built around the tide, everything included, the price in writing. Same day, no deposit to look at it.
It's standing when you get there and gone when you leave. You never touch a cooler.
We design a small number of experiences each day, on purpose. It's what keeps a proposal private, a dinner unhurried, and a beach genuinely yours for the afternoon — and it's why we'd rather turn a date away than split our attention.
Those dates open on November 15 and are placed one at a time, by conversation. If you're planning a proposal, a wedding week or a family holiday, tell us early and we'll build the calendar around you.
Sun, no rain, and water flat enough to swim at seven in the morning — that's roughly late November through early April on this coast.
Your dates and your hotel is enough to start. You'll get a real plan and a real price back today — and if we're not the right call for what you want, we'll tell you that too, and point you somewhere better.
